My story's a lot like yours;

I met catriana yesterday! She is every bit as awesome as I imagined she would be, plus some extra because it's her. She's here until sunday night... I've only taken one picture, but hopefully in a couple of days I'll have more. I think today, I'll have to drag her into one of those little booths and get some pictures of us together. We're going to kaileocomial's house for a bit tonight, and I think I'm going to take her to the bug zoo this afternoon before going over there. I fucking love that bug zoo.

I think I've slept better here, at the hotel, that I have been in my own bed. I still only slept five hours, but it felt like a million years compared to how little I've been sleeping since cutting myself off of Remerol.

I did this rather awesome art exercise with nerpin. He'd pick three random objects in his room, and I'd somehow integrate them into a picture. They weren't all winners, obviously, but it was still really fun! If you want, you can flip through them here. I posted them to a public entry in case nerpin felt like linking to the madness he helped create.

This is definitely something I want to do more of. It was challenging and fun! But now I'm exhausted, so this will have to do as my art content for the day. I did enjoy talking to the few I did talk to on AIM, though. Good times. Will be making the effort to be less reclusive.
